While the Philadelphia Flyers needed to win on the final day of the regular season just to reach the playoffs, the club is making the most of its chance in the postseason.
Eastern Conference
The seventh-seeded Flyers made quick work of the second-seeded New Jersey Devils with a 4 games to 1 series win to reach the conference semi-finals. New Jersey was the only team in the league to allow fewer than 200 goals during the regular season but the club's mediocre offense was exposed in the postseason.
