Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic signed free agent guard Ish Smith from the NBA D-League's Los Angeles D-Fenders on Thursday.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, per team policy.
Smith has played in six games this season with Golden State averaging 4.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
The 23 year-old Smith has played in 49 career games with Houston, Memphis, and Golden State.
Orlando waived veteran guard Larry Hughes on Wednesday.
